E8600 vs E8500 ?

I would appreciate anyones comments on the E8600 vs the E8500 Cpu for use with a Gigabyte GA-45-EP45-UD3R Mobo for FSX.Thank You.Frank B

If you were picking between the two I'd get the E8500 and overclock it to the speed of the E8600, considering the E8500 is $82 less than the E8600 and it is only 0.17GHz slower. Other than the small speed difference, the two are identical.What is your budget for your upgrade?

Buy the E8600 from Newegg and you are garunteed an E0 stepping model, which should OC better than the other steppings.
