I got a ch products flightsim yoke. Whene i move the stick i t isn't looking smooth. I also got this when the autopilot is turned on. I see is also outside the airplane. I have made a youtube movie about this. I dont have this with the leveld.http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=VKO-taGfUUY

Hi,I believe that PMDG has a lower number of keyframes for the animations for the throttle and yoke in order to save framerates. It was mentioned that if they increased they throttle keyframes to 200 then FPS would drop to 5 in the VC! I would imagine a similar situation for the yoke. It's possible that they'll change this in an update and make a user-selectable option, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it because it's not much of an issue.-stefan

No it's not smooth, if you look on the exterior view the movements are smooth at lower altitudes and slower speeds... when ur higher and are going faster, your control movements are very rough. They move what looks like 10 degrees apart.Look at the elevators when you climb and look at the ailerons when you turn and you will see what I mean, look outside and look at the control surfaces. You'll see what he means - how bad does the reducuction of control movements on the exterior movements affect fps? I currently get 40 fps everything maxed out. I'd love to see realism in the movements of the control surfaces. I and others invested 80 bucks for a splendid product :(

I realy hope that the update is going to fix that because whene you look at the ailorons and elevators you can see also the strange movement of the stick. Or maybe a option to get it good. IT also looks there is a autoplilot that strugels against you. Whene you don't have the autopilot on. If you wish i could upload a new video on youtube from the outside

They're busy I guess - now that the release is out... lol They're going on their vacations. Don't expect a reply for quite some time. But seriously, we paid for this product and the issue wasn't fixed in the update and no body is saying anything. Why can't PMDG add an option just like "dropping ailerons" so that the animation of the control surfaces are not jumping 20 degrees apart.

Thought I'd bring this back to the first page so we can get some attention with respect to this. John Schwabe

i hope

:( This is ridiculous that you'd complain about that. Have you any idea how animations work in FS9? People are so picky.

it is so ugly and the leveld 767 didn't have this. So it is ** about that it isn't good for the frames

Obviously you don't cause other FS9 products that I have paid in this range for didn't have these issues. Also, PMDG is making no effort talking about it or fixing it.It's our right as customers to complain according to RULE six of these boards... since we're talking about rules "Signing your name." Do you really think people who use torrents wouldn't put a fake name? Seriously...Let's stay on topic and get an answer and fix for this please.

You are making an &@($* of yourself... stop.

A Pilot doesn't see his Elevators or his Ailerons so the majority of PMDG's customers aren't going to be extremely annoyed. In reference to the fluidity of the throttle, well that's due to the number of keyframes, to increase the performance in the VC you're not going to see the throttle moving every increment to the millimeter because that would be rather counter-productive. I think you'll find PMDG have their priorities sorted out, they do realise that people prefer to have fluidity throughout Flight Sim, and sacrificing some minor animations, as opposed to getting awful performance, whereby the Aircraft doesn't handle like an MD-11, and actually making the Aircraft unflyable. If what you really want is to see Ailerons and Elevators moving, and to see a smooth transition with the throttle, then there's always the iFDG MD-11 and the Overland MD-11.
