January 12, 200917 yr Just curious on what the numbers are for the FS9 PMDG MD11. I got a message on the CDU of the pax version that max landing weight is 460,000lbs, however that number does not match any of the numbers in the performance limit section of the manuals.thanksEDIT: Also i heard that the method for Vapp speed adjustment for wind is not like the Boeing way of doing it where you add 5 knots for steady state wind less than 10 knots, and if its over 10 knots you add half of the steady state wind plus the full gust to the Vref speed, does anyone know the correct method for MD11? January 12, 200917 yr Wind additive is 1/2 of the wind greater than 20 knots or full gust whichever is greater with a maximum additive of 20 knots and a minimum of 5 knots.Regards,Floris
January 13, 200917 yr I'd been wondering about that. Thanks Floris!Quite a mouthful though. Sheesh. And people say the Boeing wind additive is confusing.

April 1, 200917 yr Any chance of a manual update? "The Maximum Weight Tables" on FCOM L.00.2 is incorrect and difficult to understand (i.e. what are in the three different rows?). April 2, 200917 yr Yeah I was wondering about the 3 different rows myself and which corresponds to the new weight limits mfrantz has given us.Jay V Jay Vorkapic
