January 26, 200917 yr Hi,Does anyone know if there is a Vista Australis (VOZ) for FSX or if there will be?Thanks.Didn't it change to FTX? That's already out.
January 26, 200917 yr Didn't it change to FTX? That's already out. There USED to be an initial FSX version of VOZ, but that was pulled after FTX became commercial. That early version was nowhere near the maturity of the FS9 version of VOZ, so you may as well bite the bullet and get the fullblown FTX packages (well worth the money, IMHO). It's what FS11 would have looked like. :(
January 27, 200917 yr The guy who started VOZ went on to create FTX (www.fullterrain.com). FTX includes the ground textures, coastlines, roads, landclass etc that make up Australia and is well worth the price. As pontius says this is what FS11 would have looked like and is probably what FSX should have looked like straight out of the box. FTX also sell a number of payware airports and they also have a number of freeware airports. www.aussiex.org have a package of about 200 freeware airports that go with FTX. Plus you can get "Ants Aussie Airports" if you search the file library at avsim which provides another 30 odd airports which work with FTX.

January 28, 200917 yr Question:Does FTX also offer their own version of Autogen? Many of the pictures show some awesome buildings. Is this a version of say "GEX" on steroids? I have not tried their demo but will do this evening, but I wanted some clarification on the buildings shown in many of the screen shots. They did not look like "out of the box" FSX Autogen.ThanksBob G
