What are the best reasonably recent current drivers that work best for FSX and PMDG.My system is AMD athlon 64X2 dual core 5200+,with Nvidia 8800GT.I think windows has auto updated my nvidia driver and it does not appear to be working as well as before.Any suggestions welcome.Ron

Latest from www.nvidia.com I'd say, similar system on one of my pcs, except 9400GT but the nvidia site one is a lot newer than 'Microshaft' supply by update.Think another site worth a look is www.guru3d.com as they have a few utilities/drivers as well if you're so inclined (on your own head be it).John Ellison

For what my opinion is worth I don't think windows updates video drivers correctly. Every time I let windows do it things got worse. I believe the best way is to uninstall the drivers, restart you computer, install the new drivers and then restart again.

Ron, nVidia uses a unified driver so it really doesn't matter whether you're using FSX or FS9...only the graphics card...and that doesn't seem to matter much either as their latest driver offerings seem to work with all the recent nVidia based cards. I'd just go their site and download the latest Forceware drivers. Always remove the old drivers first with a good "Driver Cleaner", restart (ignore the ugly VGA graphics on restart), and then install the new ones. Victor buck
