April 21, 200323 yr Unless you are willing to possibly ruin a $300 card I wouldn't. There really is no reason to unless your running one of the very first cards you will not see any difference. What I would suggest is making sure you have downloaded and flashed your motherboard to the latest Bios and make sure your running the latest VIA 4in1 drivers which I believe are version 4.46 at this time. You may find if your not running these to updates at this time it may solve your problem. Let me knowBobby
April 21, 200323 yr I know i have my latest BIOS driver, but where would i find my latest VIA 4in1 drivers ??Thanks in advance, Robert
April 21, 200323 yr Nm, did a search, and installed them. Same thing, but i noticed an an extra boost in performance :) But i still need to fix the problem with the FSAA not working in flightsim :'(
April 21, 200323 yr And why would you say that 1280x960 will cause distortion in the image??? 1280x960 is the EXACT same ratio as 800x600, 1024x768, etc...NOW if you meant to say 1280x1024 then you would be correct...That is NOT the same ratio and will cause some slight distortion in the image.
April 21, 200323 yr Bobby, I certainly wasn't suggesting you wouldn't see a drop with increasing resolutions and AF and AA settings. I mentioned this as proof the card IS CAPABLE of doing 16x AF and 6x AA at 1600 x 1200 . . .Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync.
