MD-11 (FS9): How to disable "prof armed" on ground?

When I arm nav and the plane is still on ground, I can exit that by pulling the heading knob, but I found no way to disable an armed perf mode. Is that possible after takeoff only by e.g. selecting v/s or flch?Andreas

This just came up recently. Once armed there is no way to unarm the PROF mode (nor AUTOLAND approaching final). There is no FLCH mode in the MD11... and it is never recommend that you use V/S for takeoff in any aircraft. Your IAS should be the control variable, not verticle speed. You can use A/T speed and HDG if you do not want to use PROF.

The FCOM refers to it as FLCH, but I don't know why they didn't think of having a "FLCH" FMA.
