FS9 and FSX on the same drive

Featured Replies

I am in the process of designing my new system and I would like to know if I can put both FS9 and FSX on the same drive.I will be putting FSX on the WD Vraptor drive based on the info I read about here. Will FS9 benefit from a Vraptor drive or will a WD black drive work okay? Thanks,Alan

Yes you can and FS9 will benefit the same way FSX will. The question is, if you have enough space without overfilling the drive.Best performance is with the drive <50% full.I've got FS9 on a regular drive since I rarely use it and performance is less critical than with FSX.
