It's ok but I prefer the HD version. The $10 version has static jetways and a few other problems that I can't remember now that I have the HD version. Alan

I posted this in the wrong place (Tips) and can't edit or delete so I'll post it here. I just got the Quest Kodiak. Great plane ,but I have the 'rocket' effect on startup with both the land and the water model . Parking brakes are on (except water); I have tried setting the prop to 0, fuel to 30%. I tried setting the beta min to 0.5. When I fire up the turbine, away she goes. I have to hit F2 and the brakes to stop. By then I'm either half way down the runway, crashed into a building or beached. Sometimes when I hit F2 it will flip backwards and crash. Any other ideas to get this stallion calmed down? I had the same problem. Go here for the fix. http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?82973-C-47-from-Manfred-Jahn-and-team/page8. Start at the bottom of page 8 and finish on page 9. This solution worked for me, maybe it will work for you. Alan

I thought I would give the MAAM DC3 for FSX a try, but it doesn't work. I get no gauges except the sperry autopilot in either vc mode or 2d. The window pop-ups for the Window04=Overhead Electrical Panel, Window06=Cowl Flaps, Window07=Flap and Gear Controls and Window09=Audio fail to open. They flash for a half a second is all. I downloaded the Norm Hancock panel and I now get gauges but the pop-ups still fail to work so I can't even start the engines. Any ideas? Thanks, Alan Using Win 7 with Acceleration, GTX 570

I have been away from designing airports for awhile and I can't remember how to copy a poly that I made in Sbuilder.I'm trying to get back into the design mode again.I made a flatten poly but now I need another one the same size to use for the landclass.About a year ago I found a way to copy and paste them so I don't have to go point by point, but now I can't find it.Can anybody direct me to the instructions on how to copy and paste a poly.Thanks,AlanFS9

I have some old API models that I would like to use in FS9. Is there anyway I can use them in FS9 without Airport for Windows. I can't find AFW anywhere.I've tried using sbuilder and just get an error when I try to compile.Any ideas?Thanks,Alan

Just noticed your post. If you are still looking to somewhat solve your problem then maybe I can help.I use sbuilder to modify the terrain to get rid of the sharp edges that come with almost all airports. I can send you some of my modified airports if you are interested. I had uploaded some of them to AVSIM awhile ago and am working on more. Just waiting for the file pages at AVSIM to come back so I can upload some more.Are you familiar with sbuilder?Alan

I would go with a minimum of 2 HD--One for OS and other stuff and one WD VelociRaptor 300GB for FS9 and FSX--NO PARTITIONS on the Vrap drive.Alan
