Hi Folks, I downloaded a new file yesterday of the Convair 640, authir Carlos Marreco. It looks good on the outside and flys ok as well. I do have a problem with the cockpit as neither the vc or 2d cockpits will display at all. Also, at some times I was getting a total white screen on my display. I understand that the file is a update to FSX. Anybody try this one yet? Any ideas? thanks Howard (running FSX with Acelleration)

Does the same thing on mine, only one small panel displays, all the others, including the main 2D panel appear completely black. No virtual cockpit displays either.Shame really, it's a nice exterior model.Al

Hi Carabou and Al.I do not have that specific AC but you may want to try to change the Special Effects / Texture sliders, bring them back from the Max., and see if it helps. Many of the FS9 AC have a problem in FSX. TV

Yup, thought of that and tried it. Didn't think it would help to be honest but I gave it a shot anyway, and sure enough it made no difference. Cheers for the suggestion though.Al

I have the same problem. I discovered there is nothing in the panel folder but the panel.cfg file -- no bitmaps, no gauges. I've been waiting for the fellow who uploaded the airplane to provide a fix but haven't seen it. I'm ready to email him and ask for help.

Thanks folks, I guess we'll have to wait for the author to come up with a fix. Howard
