I'm having some occassional, severe feedback-like sounds coming from my speakers, which seems to occur in heavy graphics. I am thinking it's a problem with my onboard AC'97. I also get stutters on the ground with a short humming sound. How do I know which drivers I need to update with? Thanks,Todd

Noel,I also have (and use) the Avance AC97 onboard sound with my mothboard, but have not been able to find the new drivers you are referring to. Where did you get them from? Hi Ryan,Just done a search for the drivers mentioned by ChasW and it brought up the 'readme' file for the driver installation from ViaArena.I have not yet checked this out but last time I looked at Via's web site for audio drivers it pointed me to some dated 2002!Just done another check and the drivers mentioned are in fact the ones I down loaded, they are the ComboAudio v3.50b.zip file.If your mo/bo uses Via chipsets just go to www.viaarena.com, click on 'Drivers' and then click on the 'Audio (AC97)' link on the right of the page.HTHEDIT: Didn't help my stutters :-(
