Is there a "weather capture" utility?

Featured Replies

I'm wondering if there is a utility that can "capture" real-world wx; the utility would work outside of FS2002 but be able to download weather in a format which can be loaded into FS later?I'd like to take a few snapshots of "interesting" weather areas without firing up FS.Thanks,Andrew

Yes there are several programs that do that. One is real weather 5.21. Use it in conjunction with InfoMetar infom101.zip by Dave Sandberg.Try fsmetarbeta1.zip, nwea2K2_V4.zip

Just for information FSMeteo can also be set to download a complete global weather profile without FS2002 being open. Works for me !

yeah I also use FS metar it's great to have a realworld weather, anyhow it cannot create a changing weather. so everythink is quite static.
