September 7, 200916 yr This bug has been around forever and there are already multitudes of posts about it if you search the forums. Captmilos is of course correct about the solution. Windows7 is no different than vista with regard to the way it works. Just disable UAC and it's fine. In fact vista was worse for me because I had to disable DEP completely to be able to run my eaglesoft addons. At least I don't have to do that in Windows 7.
September 7, 200916 yr Here is how to add scenery in FSX under windows7:open FSX open Settings click Scenery Library... click Add Area mark scenery you want to add and click OK ( it will open selected Addon scenery so you can now see it's subfolders, scenery & texture) now RIGHT CLICK anywhere on the white area in that open folder Dialog will now close and selected scenery will be added in the list click OK in the lower right and FSX will build new scenery database with your scenery added to it If it's any easier, here's a video demonstrating the steps:FSX-Win7 adding scenery- Martin My site: www.martinstrong.com/FS_Project.htm
