Gooper,One more thing: Make sure that your graphics card is inserterd correctly in the PCI-E slot. Put hour hand on it and give it a little push down into the slot. No loose power connectors and SATA cables?

Hi there, I am back after another crash...i did uninstall the lastest driver that i hasd installed a few weeks ago as before then everything was fine...i re-installed an older driver and re-booted....and nothing happned again !! I turned off the pc and went for some fresh air and came back after an hour and re-booted and everything came back fine...so far. i am running windows firewall and avg amd have never had a problem with either...the only culprit seems to be that damned ati driver (why does everyone always tell u to install the latest when it seems to cause nothing but problems..at least in my case!!

Try this info at Microsoft. I know you have a Vista OS but the same troubleshooting should still be applicable: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/156669/en-us. And here's another site that might help: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms681381.aspx. If the Event Viewer showed a sudden crash, you can sometimes click on the explanation and it will take you to the Microsoft website and possibly provide a solution for your particular error. If you have any USB devices plugged into your system, I'd remove them all by unplugging them and restarting your system. If this fixes your problem, then it's one of the USB device driver and you'll have to plug each back in one by one and hopefully identify the problem driver.Jim
