FSX gauge not loading

Featured Replies

Hi,I bought ASA last week. Works great, except the x gauge. When I open it, it says 'new imagey downloading'... but that's it. No image shows up, not even after a long time. Power on or of doesn't help. Re-installing neighter...Thanks,Martin

Hi,Right mouse click on the FSX icon and Run........As Administrator. Thanks,

Hi Jim, I am having the same problem as Martin even when I right click to run all applications.. It worked fine before - but had to reinstall the program.I unistalled ActiveSky X and Advance in Control Panel....then reinstalled ActiveSky X, tested X-Gauge it worked - installed SP3 - tested again - it worked - SP4 it worked then I installed ASA and it did what Martin is describing.Power on/off works and it say its updating info but does nothing (after a few seconds the message disappears but the screen still has old data).I am on Vista also,Any idea - one thing I did note during re-install only ActiveSky X asked for the key - ASA installed without asking...not sure if it might be a registration issue with ASA.Appreciate the help with this - would like to run ASA rather than going back one step to ActiveSky X...Cheers!Lyle

I have the same issue in Windows XP 32 bit with SP3 the XGUAGE never updates, so it's probably not a vista thing.Bruce

Hi,So what appears on the screen now? Thanks,
A window (the xgauge panel)... It's black. When I press the red power button, it stays black, with the word 'new imagery loading'. I stopped playing after a few hours.Uploaded a image

Hi,What Build is your ASA?Don't uninstall ASA but use the X Gauge Wizard to uninstall and re-install just X Gauge. Thanks,

To everyone,I just installed ASA and tried to use Xgauge. Lot many of you I could not download the new imagerie.I use a VISTA client machine for ASA and a XP machine for FSX.After different trys (or tries) I finally got the Xgauge functioning after starting ASA as Administrator and more importantly giving ASA the path to the FSX data files and FSX program files.
