May 10, 200917 yr I have just purchased and installed the ASA upgrade from Active Sky 6.5. After this I see that AS 6.5 is still on my system and can be run as before. Is this normal? Am I supposed to manually uninstall Active Sky 6.5 now?
May 10, 200917 yr Hi,I think all the Upgrade needs to do is validate the fact that you do have a legitimate version of AS6.5, after which the full ASA installation takes place. As ASA and AS6.5 are different programs there's no reason why AS6.5 shouldn't still work as it hasn't been changed.I still have both installed and both work. Alastair
May 10, 200917 yr It is my understanding from Jim that you can uninstall AS6.5 if you like, but there is no real reason to need to do so. Hope I remember what Jim posted a while back correctly. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

May 11, 200917 yr Hi,Remember that ASA contains no textures so if you wanted any texture snapshots, ASv6.5 would need to be installed. Thanks,
