May 12, 200917 yr On loading I get this message. I run my computer as the administrator (only one using it). UAC is disabled. Even if I start it with "run as administrator I still get this damn message. Any ideas how to get around it? Running Vista 64 ultimate. Cheers Steve Hall
May 12, 200917 yr Did you install outside of Program files(x86)? That might help. Be absolutely sure that you are set up as an administrator. I didn't run into this when I installed so it seems strange.

I never really know what should be in normal program files and what should be in the The sim has been running happily for quite some time. I did some scenery installs and then this damn thing popped up. I never know whether I should install something in the Program files or Program files (x86) folder. I usually settle on the installer defaults. Cheers Steve Hall

May 27, 200917 yr Good advice Fr. Bill. My only bad experience besides the security, is when you try to change anything such as adding FSSound.dll, you can't get rid of the warning message. That is because being installed under X86, the core program is protected. It resists any changes. That is why many people suggest installing outside of X86.
