Some Cool UT2 Features For Those Considering

Just got UT2 installed last night and tested it out for a few hours last night and today. Prior to this I was using all the WOAI packages, but this has a few features that I discovered today that makes it hard to beat for those considering buying the package, beside the fact thay it uses real world schedules, AI fly way points, the cool UI etc.1. If you are on approach into a major hub and are getting hammered on FPS because you have AI set to high there is a button you can hit that bascially takes away the AI to give your frames back, then when you touch touch down you can swipe the key again and the AI reappear. Most of the time you probably won't need it because the whole package is pretty easy on the frames, but tonight I was trying it when doing and approach into KMIA in the LDS767 with bad weather, my FPS slipped into the high teens, I hit the AI stop button, then got about 8 FPS back. Pretty cool, especially since at that phase of the flight you probably aren't AI watching.2. Cool feature #2. When on approach if you are either about to steam roll another plane or get run over by one, there is a key stroke sequence you can hit to clear your approach path. A nice feature if you are not using AI Smooth or an AI like AI Smooth. So far I really like the package. You get a lot more GA AI and it seems like you can run higher levels without much hit. Prior to this with WOAI packages I would run about 70% to 75% into big hubs before I would get too much of a performance hit. Now I can run 85% to 95% before seeing too much FPS difference. Also it seems to handle the AI better as far as routing because I dont tend to see a bunch of AI pile up for approaches like before, but if you do you can clear them out of the way.Hope this helps anyone considering the package.Regards

Those features sound great. Though it's a bummer that it doesn't include FedEx or UPS....-Alex
Yeah I agree, but they said it doesn't include those because they don't publish their schedules. In the mean time I just use my WOAI cargo flights for the ones that aren't included. At least it includes some helicopter flight plans and they are going to add military in an update.
