I stumbled across this product on the simMarket website this morning and I can't get over how the panels and MFD's in this product look virtually identical to the PMDG B737 panels and displays. I mean, I know that if you do a good rendition of the B737 panels, there shouldn't be much difference between products from different companies. There would be subtle differences in the way the panels are rendered, for example, but this just seems too close to call any difference. I bring this up because I'm wondering if they have used the PMDG panels, does this constitute a breach of some sort if they are selling their own product with PMDG panels without PMDG permission? Having said that, I don't know if they have PMDG's permission if it is indeed PMDG 737 panels in use. Just thought I'd ask...http://secure.simmarket.com/vr-insight-jetpit.phtml

In addition to my previous post...I did check out the website of the company selling this product and could find to reference to PMDG at all.

It looks like VR Insight is simply selling the HARDWARE, and the software is up to the user.

Thinking about it now, you could be right Daryl. :(

Daryl is definitely correct, I moderate VRinsights forums and I know for a fact that they don't supply any panels with the hardware, its the customers job to fit the panels from the planes they own to the special hardware, which is very straight forward by the way, the hardware just overlays the panels and allows you to interact with them.

Cheers, Andy.

My apologies, Andy. I hope you could see where I was coming from, though. It did look like what I was saying.
