June 7, 200916 yr Author I've tried it in different places with different aircraft and the results are the same. If I load the thunderstorm metar that come with ASA I will get the rain, lightening, and thunder but little to no cloud coverage. The Xgauge shows the correct weather but it's not depicted (as per the pics above).I guess I'll try REX 's engine and see if that works.Any other ideas are certainly welcomed.
June 7, 200916 yr Hi All,I will definitely give things a try again and we will keep working on this for those of you who are still experiencing this issue. If you wish to see what I am seeing in FSX, drop me an e-mail and I'll attach my screen shot. jim(AT)hifisim.comThanks,
June 8, 200916 yr Randall, it must have something to do with the interaction of addon airplanes/scenery/fsx version/windows version/etcAs stated earlier, this has been a problem with FSX and ASX since the beginning of ASX. Apparently it is also a problem is ASA. I decided to just live with it.Bill I Earned My Spurs in Vietnam
June 8, 200916 yr Author Living with it is always an option but when you pay for a product that makes certain claims, you want what you pay for.I would not consider myself a dissatisfied customer, exactly, more like a bit disappointed. But, I'll wait for developments.Randall
June 9, 200916 yr Hi All,We don't think this is a problem in ASX and we are continuing to work on this in ASA. When it is stormy and OVC in AS, that is what should be showing up in FSX.Thanks,
