I have a problem with REP in Windows 7. The install backup button and close mark does not work. When starting the program I see the REP window inside a bigger white window so it seems to be a problem with the GUI. In Win XP it works fine. It didn't help to run it in Win XP compatibilty mode.

I didn't have it installed before on my Win 7 system. So I run the installer and it installed (fresh?) but the GUI doesn't look normal

May I repeat the question since I won't get REP to work under my Win 7 RC 64 bit?

I used to have that problem with REP on my old P4 Win XP box, and I never could solve it. Ended up having to install the new textures manually. I even posted the problem on Experts Exchange, and nobody had a solution. Different video cards and drivers, same result. Of course, it works normally on my current Vista box, but that's no help. I'll be curious to see if anyone chimes in with a solution.Sorry I couldn't be more help. :(

Is your current Vista the 64 bit bersion? What graphics card and which drivers? Any special setting or procedures for installing this now functional REP?

Currently running Vista 32 Home Premium, with an 8800 GT and 185-series drivers. No special installation instructions other than those that come with REP. Of course, on my old XP machine, I had the same problem as you with REP even with a 7600GT card, so I don't think it's a video card brand issue. My old XP box had similar trouble displaying other 2D programs correctly, like some of my kids' educational software.
