Super nice. I swore I was not going to purchase FS2004 because I finally have my system where (or pretty close to where) I want it using FS2002. However, after looking at these shots, I'm going to take the plunge. Robb

I think I'm going to hold off on 3rd party scenery for a while. I had my eye on Simflyers KLAS and KIAD to add to my collection. I suspect this is going to be on a lot of people's mind. I'm hoping that the beta testers will get to the meat and potatoes of this sim soon. Like,is my Radar Contact 3 heading to the junk pile? (I suspect not, at least for us "hardcore crowd"). I would love to hear from a beta tester on flying an IFR flight from startup to shutdown. How about my FSMeteo and FSNav and Afcad and TTools and AiSpeed and AiView and AITM and whimper and whine and etc. OK, thats out of my system. I guess we better get back to talking about the main topic in most previews......volumetric clouds. John "planes? we dont need no stinkin planes. we got volumetric clouds!

That coastal shot is my second favorite of the new group, primarily because the patches of mist behind and to the right of the plane add a lot to the realism of the atmosphere. If those patches of mist behave realistically when you fly through them--and that's a big if--then that will be a great addition to the experience.
