This has been happening a lot lately and is getting annoying.Let's say there are three planes ahead of me in line to take-off. When I approach from behind them and am told to contact tower, tower tells me "you are #4 for take-off". When I aknoledge, around 3/4 of the time I suddenly see an "abort take-off" option in the UI and all the AI traffic freezes, even the planes ahead of me that are halfway taxying from the hold short to the runway. RC says I'm number 4, but acts as if I'm #1.The only way I can get the AI going again is to hit the abort take-off button again and then hit "try again". When I'm switched over to ground the AI in front of me start to line up again. But sometimes, when I re-contact tower, the exact same thing happens, and the AI freezes again, and if it happens more than once like this, I can't get them started again, not even be hitting the abort take-off option.This has happened the last three flights in a row. These flights were from EGKK, LIPZ, and LIRF. I have checked the AFCAD's for these and nothing seems funny or wrong.Any ideas as to what's happening?

and have you rebuilt the rc scenery database? directions on how to do that are in the manual. if you have 3rd party afcads, rc probably doesn't know where you are on your map, only on the default scenery information.after the rebuild, if this still happens, make a .log, instructions pinned to the top of the forum. duplicate the problem, and send me the .log file, zipped.jd

Another way around this (in FS9 at least) is to press 'alt' to bring up the menu then 'world' then 'time and season' and alter the time by advancing just 5 minutes. The AI in front of you will disappear and you can continue.I do this if I find an AI on the taxiway heading towards me - it avoids a crash and a re-start.Iain Smith
