Two Problems

Featured Replies

HiI have two problems one is with the boeing 737 seriesThe PMDG fuel menu in the drop down doesn't work. If I select the fuel option it loads up the options to change various settings for the plane and not the fuel menu. The only way I can load fuel is using an external PMDG fuel PlannerThe second problem I have is with the MD11. The aircraft will load and initialize only if I select the defaul precision manuals painted aircraft. If I select another livery that I have installed from a download from your website the panels are black and the aircraft does not initialize, I do not get the green bar stating that the aircraft is initializing and therefore I cannot fly a livery painted md11. This is a new install of the md11 with the latest patch installed and fscrew for the md11 installed with their latest patch. This happens with both the passenger and cargo versions for FS9I have the boeing series including the 600/700/800/900 and the QOS 747 and 747F and MD11/MD11FAny ideas what could be causing this and any help in rectifying this situation would be most appreciated.Running on Vista with UAC disables and with Full Admin Rights2 gig ram Dual CoresMany ThanksJason Shephard

I have fixed the second issue. I restored the original panel cfg file using fscrew then reinstalled the fscrew panel and all is working. Please can you have a look at the issue I have with the boeing 737 series.Jason Shephard

The 737 doesn't use the drop down to load fuel. That only works for the MD11 and the 747 as far as I know. You have to load the fuel through using FS or some other external loader like FS PassengerRegardsRichie

The 737 fuel is loaded from the fs9 fuel/weight menu. There is a fuel planner to use to know what values to put into the fs9 menu for the fuel. The 747 and MD-11 are loaded with fuel from the pmdg options menu only.John Ellison

hello. this is a bit long winded. go to pmdg web site and click downloads, drop down menu shows miscellaneous, click this and you will see 737ng fuel planner. download to desktop. open planner and fill in relevant data. when finished you will see aircraft top left with fuel figures on wings and centre tanks, note these figures, when in the 737 cockpit go to task bar- aircraft- which will take you to fs fuel loader, enter saved figures, click ok and a box will appear with data, note gross weight and transfer this into fmc perfinit one left and everything fills in that is relavent in one,two threeleft. suggest entering 6 into reserve box. hope this helps. richard welsh.
