June 21, 200916 yr ^ looks goodI built my roommate a 920/6gb/4870x2 system a couple months ago and the total bill was under $1500 so another $500 (and a cheaper video card) could allow you to step up to a 950 CPU instead.
June 21, 200916 yr Check out this MB too:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131371This baby will run equal to or better than any full ATX and it travels light. Just enough expansion slots and no more. No floppy Drive (and nobody wants a floppy), no express gate, just 1 LAN port (if you can live with that)...You can turn off your IDE ports if you only use SATA. All this means it boots up like lightening & runs fast. Every ROG BIOS option you'd need, nice voltage & temp monitoring. The OB sound is perfectly respectable. The only thing is the X58 chipset runs really hot so it needs a fan on it. Overall it's probably as good as anything out there for a purpose-built FSX system. Here's your power supply to add to the list:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817703009And definitely stick with an Nvidia card like the 285. The ATI cards work great in games like Crysis but not FSX. -jk

June 21, 200916 yr I'm not sure what SFF is but I've got everything crammed into a modded Antec 300 case. I have a Swiftech WC setup with a panel cut out of the top of the case for the radiator to sit in so everything blows out the top and back. The pump sits on top of the power supply and the reservior is bolted to the rear exhaust fan inside the case. I need to make the front a little "prettier"There's 3 Vraptors and a 1Tb WD Black in there too! Yes, I love this little board right now. ^_^ -jkThanks for the response and the pics.SFF is
