Featured Replies

HiI have 7 modules and was using software version 1.77.I updated to 1.81 and lost all recognition of the modules in FSX.I since uninstalled GoFlight and reinstalled 1.77 Still I have no recognition of any of my GoFlight modules in FSX.I have FS9 on the same machine and all is perfect with Fs9.Can anyone help me with understanding why FSX fails to recognise the modules now. Thanks Al SibleyFlightontario

Go to the GoFlight folder and look for an icon called GFDevFSX. It is 3 colored blocks with the letters MFC on them and says FSX to Module Data Bridge. Activate that before starting FSX and they should work. I made a shortcut for my desktop and I click it before starting FSX and it works fine.On my old computer with XP it did it automatically, but my new Vista computer wouldn't work until I found this fix.Hope this worksmaxsdad

Try right clicking on that file mentioned above then select 'properties', next click on the compatibility tab, finally make sure the there is a tick in the box that says 'Run this program as an administrator', I think you will now find that you don't need to use the shortcut method mentioned above, I may be wrong though.

Cheers, Andy.
