July 6, 200916 yr http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/essex/8136307.stmHow strange - or maybe it isn't. Surely this isn't the only runway in the world affected.
July 6, 200916 yr Runways are renamed all the time. Just recently I made the mistake of flying into an airport north of KRDU and the runways had just been renumbered. Oops. Made the wrong calls luckily there was only locals flying in the area and monitoring unicom. :( ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
July 6, 200916 yr It's a common occurrence. There are lots of runways in FS which are out of date because of it. My local airport (EGCC) Manchester no longer has R24R/L and 06R/L like in FSX, and one of the ones everyone is familiar with in FSX: R09 at TNCM Princess Juliana International is in fact now R10 at the real place. On the plus side, if you are a simmer, it means all the real world pilots will be ditching their aerodrome booklets and so will the people who sell the old ones with that old runway heading, so you could probably find one cheap that would be okay for FS.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
