I have purchased the MD-11 from FlightSim Pilot Shop (have not received it yet). I look forward to starting training camp on that puppy! Once I have installed the software on my computer, how do I determine what version of the software I have? I guess I could download and install the update available on the PMDG site if I wasn't sure, but I thought I'd ask and see if there is a way of checking that.Many thanks.Gianluca

The installer will provide the version, and you can look at the readme that comes with it at any time. When you go to the pmdg menu and click About that version number is not the simulation version but the version of the "About" applete, I think. Just remember the readme.

Open the MD-11 Aircraft.cfg in Notepad and it shows the version at the top of it as well. Also in the Panel.cfg.Obviously after installing it - Hope you have many hours of fun learning the bird.John Ellison
