I've got some strange stuff going on here, but I don't know what. This is around KLAX, but it's all over the place:-( I have Ultimate Terrain & GEX installedThere's water where some roads should be, and look at those tracks. Anyone got any ideas please?

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

Scenery conflict? Disable sceneries that you suspect are causing the problem in your scenery library until you find the culprit.Just an idea.Jim D.

Did you think to look at the UTX user's manual prior to posting? FYI, that's to "simulate" a race track, in this case Hollywood Park, which is on short final to KLAX. In the user's manual are descriptions of the features and simple instructions on how to turn things ON or OFF. Don't like it? Takes about 30 seconds to start the Setup Utility and turn it off.

Hey, what's with the harsh tone?I do know what they are, but I'm quite sure they're not meant to placed like that. Nor do I believe there are any canals in place of streets around there. Have another look, I'm sure you'll see what I mean.As my sim didn't used to look like that, I asume I have a problem somewhere, and was merely asking if anyone knew what it was.I'm surprised, but sorry if my post offended you.

The picture disappeared? And while you're "quite sure" about their display, I know what their display characteristics are like and how Hollywood Park appears in FSX with UTX active. BTW, the feature is inactive in my UTX setup.I didn't notice the water roads and since the picture is gone... But Los Angeles does have some "concrete rivers" runing through the area, which are modeled as regular rivers. I'd go take a picture of one for you, but it's 1700 on a Friday evening and traffic is at it's worst! And FWIW, I'm a drive-by forum visitor most of the time. As FSX is reloading or I'm compiling scenery I take the chance to visit a forum somewhere. If you expect sugar coated responses, oh well. Just think, you could be following the first reply and turning stuff on and off in FSX trying to find a solution to a problem that isn't there.

Okay, here we go again. Original pic was deleted for being too big!I KNOW it's not meant to look quite like this. I don't have any other local sceneries installed.Any idea on what I might have done to cause this:

The sports tracks in the parking area is a feature in UTX that can be turned off (my choice), but I don't see tracks in this location with the feature turned on. I'm not using GEX, and maybe it has some impact on this UTX feature.

Thanks Art.Google shows the tracks in the right place (though they look pretty 'naff' so i've turned them off. What i'm more concerned about are the water textures where the roads should be. Look below the race tracks.

Hello Phil, Well I'll start off with a friendly tone, unlike some others. :( I see what you see, except I am not clear what you are saying are water features? If you mean the streets immediately east of the small track, thats what I believe they they are - streets (bottom of your pic). In my case they are pretty black, and there is a large "blacktop" parking lot just on the other side of side of the multilane highway (again, would be further to the bottom of your pic). If there is something else in the picture that is water, sorry I can not make it out.Hope thats of some help . . .Joe
