July 24, 200916 yr Hi,I'm willing to switch from XP32sp2 to a 64bit OS (Vista, 7), and I'd like to do it without erasing to present OS, with a soft slow transition (reinstalling everything in time on the new OS)as my XPsp2 FSX is perfectly working and it has been a quite complex path to make it satisfactorily working with all the addons, I was thinking to set it up on the new OS, one step at a time, in the less painful way, without erasing the good working one, until the new install was completedis it allowed a dual setup an each OS on the same PC?thanks

July 24, 200916 yr Yes.....I am triple booting with FSX on a 320g hd w/Vista 32b,1tb hd w/Vista 64b and 640g hd with Win7 RC 64b.....Win 7 64b runs better than Vista 64b for me..And I HOPE I never have to go back to 32b. OS..Microsoft tech told me multiple installs on same computer...After 4-5 times,I had to activate by phone..No problem...Hope this helps...BMG50 Lou C172P N97674 PPL SEL Complex High Performance
