July 28, 200916 yr So since this plane doesn't have a 2D panel, do I take that to mean Carenado is using the same design technique for the VC guages as RealAir did for their FS9 models - as in buttery smooth guage updates?
July 28, 200916 yr To fix the nose bouncing problem just substitute this line in the aircraft.cfg contact points section:point.0 = 1, 1.2, 0.00, -3.8, 1600, 0, 0.6, 40, 0.12, 2.5, 0.8, 3.0, 3.0, 0, 152, 180What I changed here was the nose gear's Static Compression from '0.1' to '0.12'. Flight means high frame rates and SMOOTH gauges.2D panels will give smoother gauges than a VC if 2D gauges are also used in the VC......and therefore IMHO a 2D panel should be provided for those more keen on flying than eye candy. 3D XML gauges in the VC have been out for a long time now and not only are the smoothest of all but 3D as well......and certainly lend themselves to GA aircraft. So while the Seneca is a beautiful model and Carenado are so far supporting FS9. I would ask them to "Get with the program" and learn how to and implement 3D XML gauges. In fact I insist. It would benefit them and us immensely....and THEN and only then may they have an argument for VC only. :( My FS Videos

It's like they saw a few other devs dropping the 2D panels and said "hey, we can leave out the 2D panels too!" but they forgot the crucial reason WHY those other devs were dropping the 2D - the way the VC guages were developed. That VC looks utterly scrumptious, but without those xml guages its just not where it needs to be for it to supercede the 2D panel...

I just re-downloaded the installer and everything is running perfect!-feng
