9800GT and Drivers

Featured Replies

Greetings all,Well after getting a "new" 9800GT 512Meg, and installing the latest drivers from Nvidia...I am having some issues with both FSX and FS9. First, System:Dell XPS 400, 4 Gig Ram, Windows XP (SP3), Dual Core 2.4Ghz, only use system for FS. FSX - Extreemly stuttery, even with sound turned off and most sliders leftish....10 percent traffic, no cars or boats.... FS9 - Runs smooth, but shimmery, and I cannot for the life of me get any AA! This is both Full Screen and Windowed. I run both in 32 bit, same settings as monitor. I have Nhancer, and would love to get some beginner settings for both...also, Im wondering, if it's a driver issue, where do most folks stop when it comes to installing latest drivers for "older" cards? Thanks all!P.S., I have done alot of serches, most of what I want to get are NHancer tips...but for the life of me I can't find anything on the actual settings, just references to settings....sigh...

Many report good results with the 182.50 drivers, I still use 175.16.Newer drivers are not "better"..Try 8XS AA in nhancer for best visuals.
