August 12, 200916 yr Hi,I've been going through all my planes, figuring out which work with Acceleration/SP2.Tonight, I've been working on the Aeroworx B200. I've figured out most of the issues with the Analog cockpit (I can't get the Efis cockpit to work properly in the VC). The only problem I have left is that the cabin windows are black. I've added alpha channels to the areas associated with the windows in vc_texture_sheet_7.bmp, but that had no effect.Has anyone else gotten these windows to be transparent from inside the plane?I'm having the same problem with the Alpha Blue Ceil F4U-7. I can't figure out which textures need to be modified for that plane either.Oh, also, did Dave Eckert ever redo his models for his Stearman? Nice plane, I hate it when they get ruined by a VC panel background that extends beyond the panel so you end up with a transparent area above the glare shield. Is there a way to fix this? Tom Perry
August 12, 200916 yr Hello,I am using FSX Acceleration and I also fail to get EFIS in my Aeroworx B200. I might just swap them out with other EFIS gauges. Keith Guillory

Nice plane, I hate it when they get ruined by a VC panel background that extends beyond the panel so you end up with a transparent area above the glare shield. Is there a way to fix this?If I recall correctly, the way I did it was to make the glass alpha channel grey (or 50% black)... that took care of it for me.
August 12, 200916 yr Author Which plane are you talking about?Which file did you change? For the Aeroworx plane, I thought I did that (the porthole windows are in vc_texture_sheet_7.bmp). But it didn't have any effect. For the F4U-7, I just can't figure out which texture file is the glass file. For the Stearman, I'm not having a problem with the glass. For that plane, the "surface" upon which the VC gauges are resting is a square surface that extends above the glare shield over the panel. Unfortunately, its attributes are not set to show objects that are behind it when it is transparent. So there is this square "hole" that blocks out all the airplane parts and trees etc that are behind it. Tom Perry
