FS2024 is slowly growing on my external hard drive for a lot of reasons. P3Dv5 is still my main sim. I have invested a lot of time in both retro AI traffic and present time AI traffic.

The detail is stunning. I'm going to look for some of my old neighborhoods.

Flightsim.com takes me back to my first days of flightsim 1994/95 timeframe and the excitement of seeing new addon aircraft and scenery. I will always be appreciative for having used and contributed to the website over the years.

I miss the Dreamfleet Dakota. It was fun to have in the sim. It sounded incredible and beautiful. I'll take any Dakota I can fly in any of the new sim releases.

I have MSFS 2020, P3D v5 and v6 and X-Plane 12 and DCS. I mostly use P3Dv5 for modding scenery and AI traffic.

This upcoming LJ45 makes me happy!

It almost looks like you have scenery files out of order in the Scenery.cfg. Is ORBX scenery still installed?

Great looking jet even as It has taken me a while to like the Citation X. I will follow this product and likely purchase. I echo the sentiments on Eaglesoft. I was mostly looking forward to their updates to the Beechjet 400.

KPHX is one of my favorite airports by design and it's hard to pass up any quality rendering.

It depends on what I am flying. For private and commercial jets I typically turn it off when given last vector to final on an ILS approach. I then hand-fly the localizer intercept and all the way to the runway.

This is correct. If you desire to have AI aircraft alias sounds outside their own folder then you have to have the "alias..." entry for sound in the aircraft.cfg. I've done this for nearly 100 percent of my AI aircraft and it can get pretty noisy when you have several types of aircraft operating in close proximity of each other. There are parameters within the soundai.cfg that can be modified to adjust volume and distance from aircraft on which influence the overall output of the source sounds.

After years of tinkering with FS9, FSX, etc. the features in World Traffic that give new meaning to AI for me are military formation flights, overhead breaks and vertical departures.

I have been watching out for this release. I do about 25 percent of my flight sim time in X-Plane. I was hoping to find a video that gives a good sampling of the sounds for this aircraft. So far I have only found videos with music.

Yeah, KATL might qualify as a major airport. 5 parallel runways with 2 miles straight line distance between the most outer runways Rwy 28 and Rwy 26R. In all fairness I might try this program.

Yes, these are nice screenshots. A lot of airport downloads are being added daily to make X-Plane more enjoyable. Be sure to checkout the World Traffic addon if you don't already have it.

FL350 was my guess too. I typically don't spend that much time up high in FSX or any of my other sims. Every now and then I will attempt high altitude flights in U-2 and SR-71, but mostly I am down close to the ground in helicopters or around the flight deck of amphibs and carriers.

I tried to make contact last week to get a new key since I had to reinstall my RC4. The code that came in my last email from JD does not work in the most recent download even though they are the same version. Just trying to keep things that I've paid for up and running.
