Opa's suggested solution sounds good, but to specifically answer one of your questions:PDF is a format specifically designed to prevent the text being edited or extracted in order to display documents exactly as intended, so it is not easy to convert them to other types. You can convert other types to PDF easily - search on Google for "txt to pdf" etc and you will find many choices.A straight conversion of plain text (txt) to HTML (htm) will not look any different in FS. If you want to format paragraphs, bold text, links etc you will have to add all of these yourself. Web pages are written in HTML and you can look at the source code of a simple web page to get an idea of how the formatting tags work. It is quite a simple language to learn but way outside what can be easily discussed on a forum. Again, you will find lots of help through Google.John

The WinZip folks sell a tool that will convert PDF to text; once you have the text, it's relatively easy to convert it to html via MS Word or many other programs that allow you save a text file as html.DJ

Following up on John's comments -If you do not wish to learn the HTML language, I recently ran across a great text editor which will automatically convert plain text into a properly formatted HTML file. You can get it here:http://www.pspad.com/en/The utility is named PSPADDownload is named pspad454b2351.cabJust execute the cab file as you would any zip file to install it.There are a number of such freeware programs available but this is my current favorite.Note: You can also create such documents using Microsoft Word.Hope our comments are helpful.

One thing you can try is using Acrobat, and by that I don't mean the free Acrobat Reader you can get from Adobe et all, but the full version of the Adobe Acrobat application: Ordinarily that's quite costly to buy (of the three versions, standard, Pro and Pro Extended, the standard version is 299 US Dollars), but in common with most other Adobe applications, you can download a 30-day trial version which has all the functionality of the paid version. You need to register with Adobe (www.adobe.com) in order to download trial versions of their products, but it only takes a second or two and then you would be able to get a trial version of Acrobat and mess with PDFs to your heart's content, for thirty days. The standard version of Acrobat can convert and export all PDF formats into lots of other formats, among them MS Word, which will of course then let you convert it to HTML. This is worth trying if you have problems, because there are actually numerous different PDF formats and standards (PDF-X, PDF-A, PDF-M etc, although yours is probably X, which is the print standard for PDFs), but since Acrobat is designed with all of those in mind, it generally does a better job when you mess with things.Al
