August 17, 200916 yr Hello all, I have searched the forum and have not been able to find any posts with respect to this specific topic. For example, when instructed by a controller to switch to a different frequency, and that controller begins instructing someone else before you make the switch, it is then impossible for you to effect that change to a new frequency, until the new dialog is completed, a dialog which has no relevance to you. I would think that this is highly unrealistic, or is it a problem which I am alone experiencing. :( Best Regards,GodfreyG :(

August 17, 200916 yr Author are you replying with responding with ACK, or ACK and Contact?do you have autotune on contact turned on?do you have the comms, or the co-pilot?Hello JD, I certainly hope I have not wasted your time, which will only delay the arrival of RCv5 even more !!! :( Anyhow, I may have "goofed up" as I may have selected 'acknowledge' only, and not 'acknowledgw with contact'. I will check that to verify and, if I did, I apologize for wasting your time. I do have every box under 'Other' checked with the exceptions of 'Display Text' and 'IFR Training' Thanks for your quick reply.Respestfully,GodfeyG :(

The one where even if I change frequencies on my COM1 radio, the current verbal exchange on the now de-tuned frequency continues till finished. That's certainly unrealistic, but in RCV5 don't you cut off the playback as soon as you see the frequency change?RegardsPete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. I am glad to know that you have fixed this issue in RCv5 and now, I just can't wait for its release. :( Anyhooo... I gues I will have to wait, with as much patience as I can muster. You guys, JD and Pete, have really made some remarkably great improvements to our flightsimming world. Hats off to you fellows. :( Best Regards,GodfreyG :(
