2D Panel in the MD-11 Question

Featured Replies

Folks,I tried to find this in the manual, but can't seem to figure it out. By default, my MD-11 loads the virtual cockpit, but would like to work in the 2D panel for the tutorial. I can not for the life of me figure out how to do this. Can some help?My apologies for the newbie question... Thanks!BillKPHL

Hit the 'A' key about 6 or 7 times and the 2-D panel will show up.Regards, jack

Look in the options settings in FS - it's there as a tickbox to load VC by default - untick itJohn Ellison

By the way, i was wondering if it is possible de put some shortcuts for the panels. I'd rather to open the overhead with shift+2 like in the other airplanes...thanks!

Yes. See the keyboard commands in the pmdg options menu. I've mapped most of the 2D views to keys, using the same keys in all the aircraft in my hanger but quite different from default MSFS. I prefer deleting the default MSFS key assignments that I don't use and reassign the keys to suit my preference in the pmdg keycommands.
