September 1, 200916 yr I have always liked the Barracuda drives from Seagate. I run 4 of them with absolutely no problems. They are quick, quiet, and cool. On the 1TB drives just make sure its the 7200.12 version.

I have 3 of them 1 1tb drive for OS and other items and other apps, 1 tb for backup using acronis, 1 500gb for FSX only. My FSX drive never gets fragmented that way. Jim Wenham
September 1, 200916 yr I only use Western Digital since the Seagate .11 and .12 series *all* fail MHDD sector-by-sector testing. If a drive has slow or uncorrectable sectors I don't trust it, and *every* new Seagate drive has them so until they correct that, I refuse to use them.
