FSX Crash - SelfSetup Liveries MD11

Featured Replies

Good Evening, i recently bought PMDG MD-11, because i'd like to improve my Flight skills. There is unfortunately a very big problem. After i download the FSX selfsetup liveries from the PMDG site, i run the .exe file:1) If I leave the cartel, the program of installation give me (c:\\Programmi\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X), after the installation, FSX is not able to open itself, causing every times a big crash. I can resolve this problem (crash) with the complete disistallation and reistallation of FSX...2) If i select the cartel md11 situated in simobjects\aircraft, before close the installation there is this message: Unable to find the file aircraft.cfg, please reinstall the product (but the file is in the cartel!)How I can resolve this big problem, i've got FSX Service Pack 2, on a very powerful computer.Help Me Please, what is the exactly folder? Or something else ?Thank you so much...

No it's Windows XP.

If it is possible that the livery download did not cause the FSX to crash, then maybe you have a problem with the dll.xml file in FSX. Try change its filename to dll.bak and restart FSX which will then build a new dll.xml.Hope this helps.
