I cannot make a proper cockpit view adjustment. If I go View 70, to avoid outside distortion, I better fly with Ultralight.Please see below my cockpit I +/- zoom to have readable instrument panel, but with this settings distortion deveoped.Will you please give a screen shot of your best cockpit main panel /front window. I can followup your settingsThanksSanal

That screenshot is way too zoomed out. Set up a realistic view as if you were sitting in the captain's seat - this will not show you the entire panel. That type of thing (ala a 2D panel) is not realistic in the slightest. If you then use spacebar + mouse to look around, you can access most things that way, as if you were turning your head. There's also some other preset views we've made that will show you zoomed in on the FMS, the coaming panel etc...

Sanal,On the window center post, you'll find an odd looking thing...an orange ball with two posts sticking out of it that have black balls on their ends. This helps you set your view properly. Move your viewpoint around until the left black ball appears centered over the orange ball, then adjust the zoom until you can see enough instruments to fly comfortably. Some visual distortion of the outside view is to be expected, since you're simulating periferal vision on a flat monitor.

Hi,I found it best to ignore the "proper" alignment and shift the view back until the top of the yoke is almost touching the bottom of the PFD, then raising the view so it is just below the bottom line of the label.This "feels" more accurate when you look at the view point relative to the seats, as well as making everything more comfortable to access. I can leave it at the default zoom level then, and no distortion occurs. I feel like I'm leaning forward all the time and it makes it quite awkward.I'll get a screenshot.Best regards,Robin.

Here is the camera definition for my current position:

[Camera.1.2]Guid=(DO NOT REPLACE YOUR LINE WITH THIS)Zoom=0.60000002384185791Translation=0, 0.035924769937992096, -0.14479263126850128Rotation=19.3414306640625, -0, 0

Put this into your J41 .FLT file located in My Documents. If you know you saved whilst in the VC, then look for the entry that says "current view", go to the camera definition it points to, and replace ONLY "Zoom", "Translations" and "Rotation" lines.Best regards,Robin.
