No sounds in virtual cockpit

Featured Replies

First of all, I ahve to say, the PMDG 737-600/700 is probably the best add-on I've ever seen in FS2004. However, I do have a slight problem. When I'm in the virtual cockpit, I can't hear any sounds when I press a button or pull a lever. For example, when I lower the flaps in the virtual cockpit, I can't hear the clicking sound that I would in the 2D panel. I used to be able to hear them, I didn't do anything to the settings or anything.Any help will be appreciated.-Jon E.

Do you hear the engines and environmental sounds? Double check the sounds settings both in the pmdg menu and the FS sounds control.

Yes, I can hear the engines through the virtual cockpit, as well as environmental sounds.I have cockpit sounds set to 100 in my FS sound menu. I don't know how to access the PMDG sound menu. Then I press the Alt key to get the the PMDG menu, I only get Failures, Styles, LCD Frame Rate Tuning, and Keyboard Commands. Nothing about sounds.I have tired reinstalling the 737 as well and that didn't help.- Jon E.

From the menu bar: PMDG. General. Sounds, make sure there are checks where desired.
