September 10, 200916 yr Nice screenshot! Made me laugh.These engines are fickle, no question. But that makes them fun! I am thinking about pasting a Stick-It note on my monitor that says, in bold letters, 'start locks!'Just last night I was lined up on 08L at CYVR, ready to go, and advanced the throttles fully. Inching down the runway, I didn't feel like I was accelerating. It was then that my eyes darted to the torque gauge that read '32%' "Damn, the start locks," I cursed. Rejected takeoff, back around, and do it all over again!Nothing makes me feel like an idiot quite like the J41 and its engines!
