September 11, 200916 yr I don't know about you guys, but I think Russian aircraft are flippin nice and a great challenge to fly!We have a few classics so far, the AN-24RV, Tupolev 114 and IL-62M have all earned some medals here and there. Now there is a decent IL-86 as well (without an english manual unfortunately). But all these years I haven't seen one decent Antonov 124, the ugliest, biggest, heaviest transport machine out there doing commercial flights all over the place with a crew of 6!! Tomas Ruth and co. made quite a nice model, but there was no FDE of panel involved.Yesterday I was looking for some IL-86 repaints when I stumbled upon an AN-124 package (an old one though) but in the comment I though I read something about a 'Ruslan'-project...Check out these links:Main site forum: http://projectruslan.bigforumpro.com/forum.htmPanel: http://projectruslan.bigforumpro.com/forum...tema-t26-30.htmModel: http://projectruslan.bigforumpro.com/forum...tema-t48-75.htmI can be a critic and say that the engine intakes aren't really round enough and the paint work can be much improved, but it's still being worked on. Looks very promising. If any of you are interested in this plane please make a post or something on the English forum because im the only one so far :S If no English speaking people are interested I doubt they will make an English manual...Cheers!
September 11, 200916 yr I saw the panel and model screenshots, the model looks fine (but I'd love to see its animations before judging it), the panel looks good... but can someone translate me all the features of the plane? I don't understand Russian at all :( Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. September 11, 200916 yr Talking about russian planes, where can I get a good IL 76? All of the ones out aren't that good, no good paints or panels or anything...
September 12, 200916 yr Yeah, I want a decent AN72/AN74 model and paints. :( Oh well.Nice to see the Ruslan is being worked on though. I might hop over there when I get a chance...
September 12, 200916 yr I'm looking to PMDG to do an IL76 . . . fat chance, but one can always dream :( I mean, can you imagine it . . amazing.
September 12, 200916 yr I once downloaded a good-looking IL-76 with VC from avsim.ru, I think, but the system simulation was almost non-existent. Anyway, I'd love to have good AN-124 with a good VC. I love that plane! I love that plane!Well guys there IS a prety good IL-76. Check on avsim.SU (you an select english top right). Look for enrique del rosario's panel. 'Twister' made some really nice paints which get the best out the unfinished model. Mike Maarse made some awesome sounds as well ;)Or you can maybe find it on rossiya.123.fr. He has a nice collection on there. There is a AN72/74 on there as well but it's really old now and there isnt really a good panel.Sorry but PMDG can never make a Russian plane, don't think they would be able to get the resources they need to reach their level of simulation. Plus the market would be too small I think, allthough I would buy it ;)

And can someone outfit ISG1 into it so I can fly proper departures, arrivals, routes etc.Can you give me a direct link for the v2 model, or the other best IL 76 model please...

Not sure what panel that is though.

As for PMDG making a Russian aircraft, I agrre that they probably wouldn't have access to the required resources although they may have better links that we imagine. Still, I guess they also have to think of the commercial aspect of developing a Russian plane. Would there be sufficient demand?
September 13, 200916 yr I would surely buy one if they made one. I'd think itd be great if they make a nice IL-96 or IL-86, for instance. True, we have both of these as freeware, but the IL-96 uses Boeing 747 gauges and the IL-86's panel was never finished. Yes, if they'd do an IL-86, I'd surely buy it.
