MD-11: disable Overhead

Featured Replies

Hello,The Overhead Panel of the MD-11 has the switch at the top/back left which disables the most of the overhead panel to gain frames. Is it possible to have this feature durable ON by changing sth in the aircraft.cfg or panel.cfg?Or in other words, is it possible to disable the Overhead Panel like the switch does it by changing sth in the cfgs?thank you very much, guenter steineredit: btw: is it a good idea to make some subforums here for the different products of PMDG: a MD-11 Forum, a J41 Forum and so on....?

I'm not sure if you can fix it via the cfg, but maybe you can set this feature ON and then save the plane so it will remain that way next time you start?

No, this is not possible. If you want to disable the overhead, you need to hit the switch.

- go into the normal VC view and look up onto the Overheadpanel (NOT the 2D Overheadpanel; btw I don't know why the switch isn't implement there?) - look at the top left (behind the fire extinguish latches) - theres at the left side a single switch named "switches ovrhd", "HIDE"click on it. must be OFF
