FSX DX10

Featured Replies

Hey guys how is everyone, forgive me but I havn't been able to keep up with the DX10 technology in FSX. Now that I actually have a reason to use it, PMDG JS4100 I am enjoying it the cockpit shadows are great, but is there a way to get rid of the constant flickering while taxiing around the airport? As well as when switching views from outside to the VC you get the FSX Splash screen that cover all the cockpit screens for about 2 seconds. Is this un-avoidable or is there a solution now that its been out for so long? I really appreciate the help guys.I am using Vista 64 SP2 Intel C2D OC'ed to 4.0Ghz 4GB Ram and 8800GTX.Thanks

I got rid of most of it by setting my FSX Antialiasing to its maximum setting. I use an ATI video card.

Please sign your name to posts in this forum.I tried DX10 preview but quickly decided against it. I keep seeing layer bleed-through on stock scenery, e.g., taxiways overrrun on the runways, etc.

Might be a better forum for this topic, perhaps Microsoft?

That isn't REX giving that effect. It's an HDR plugin (google enbseries). In regards to the flickering runways/taxiways in DX10, I have not found away to remedy that.
