September 17, 200916 yr Mike, thanks, I did not know that. I don't think that's in the tutorial, which I think should be. My one other beef with the MD11 is the massiveness of the manual. I read through a bunch of it, but sorry an 800 + page pdf (or whatever the big one is) makes it hard to read.You can use the search the function. Actually in my opinion the big, geeky, detailed manuals are awesome. It tells you everything you would ever want to know about the aircraft. It's one of my favorite parts of the PMDG packages I purchase. One would think someone with a private pilot's license wouldn't mind a lot of reading on a particular aircraft? :(
