September 15, 200916 yr a few more of these and pmdg forum will start to look like an airsimmer forum ,with all post demanding updates, videos etc, with no response from the company.vivek http://www%28delete_this%29.precisionmanua...m/supporter.jpg

Thanks!you might want to follow the path of the devs of the up and coming Forza Motorsport 3 for the XBOX system. They keep their "customers" updated with snippets of information throughout the development process. be that screenshots, videos, podcasts, etc. It doesn't have to be all the time, perhaps once a month. If you provide updates then folks will stop asking. "sometime in 2010" or "it's ready when it's ready" doesn't really cut it in 2009's wide world of communications.and yes, I know, Turn10 have a ton of developers, etc, etc, but if you take the time then your customers will thank you for it.
September 15, 200916 yr Nope.I've seen updates given, and requests for updates requested within 24 hours. Dan Downs KCRP

We've considered a twitter page for just this purpose. The downside is that creating an airplane of this magnitude is fairly consuming, and taking time out of the day, regardless of how beneficial it may be to our customer base, is just REALLY hard to do when you have a development team of 5 or 6 people. But hey, we'll take it under advisement and see if we can squeeze out a bit more information as the aircraft progresses. Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
September 15, 200916 yr Twitter feed would be a good start! Also, the fact that people are asking questions and wanting updates is a good thing. it means there's a buzz about the products because, via reputation, they know the product is going to be good. Build on the buzz and the enthusiasm, it's got to be worth it in the end when it comes time to sell the finished product.

Considering the original poster got trashed in the posts above by users not related to PMDG other than being cutomers/fans. If you'll seriously consider updates via Twitter or whatever, that would be great. John Dekker from Radar Contact started a blog on his work in progress of version 5, works great and it surely satisfies my curiousity of the product development progress.J.Gawecki Jacek G. September 15, 200916 yr Considering the original poster got trashed in the posts above by users not related to PMDG other than being cutomers/fans.The poster got "trashed" for:1) Not signing his name.2) Asking a question that has been asked 6,900 times.3) Not using the search function (Seriously, UTFSF!)4) Claiming it's "almost christmas", when we're still 101 days away.5) Using the phrase "tick tock tick tock", as though PMDG is keeping him waiting.6) General bufoonery. You're right though, Kudos to Vin for being nice when he didn't have to be. Three cheers for Vin!Nick
