September 26, 200916 yr This beast has been on my computer for 20 days and didn't manage to get into the air due to a config alarm - which wouldn't allow me to open the throttle past 40%. In my case it has nothing to do with weight and fuel as I am now in the air at 6000 over Luton and my take off weight is in the red. Nor did I set the required speeds in the IAS. Nothing set on the flight computer either. I put my problem down to not having the spoilers armed which finally gave me no alarm when I tested the TOCW button, but as soon as I put the condition levers to 'flight' - it was the handbrake that was the final stumbling block. It was just a matter of time - someone had to come up with the answer. Thanks to all. Happy days - what a lovely aircraft to fly. (Haven't tried landing yet)
