Yes, on all aircraft types. Also mixture full rich.

When you say you've set mixture full rich are you doing this by the keyboard combination of Ctrl+shift+F4 or are you using a joystick axis? If you haven't tried the keyboard combo yet, give it a whirl. Otherwise, it sounds like a default flight issue - try deleting it and changing to one with an aircraft that is running.

Thanks, changed default flights, will start with a flight that has defaults sitting on runway with engines running. In all my years of real flying I do not ever ecall getting in an aircraft that is sitting on the runway with engines running.... just more bloody microsoft **. AS REAL AS IT GETS????Strangely enough my PMDG works fine. (Let me guess, you waant to blame them now)Kevin

Just to add, most add ons I have paid for either do not work or you need to be a programmer to get them to work, IF I PAY FOR SOMETHING I WANT IT TO WORK!!!Kevin Cheesed off Kyle

The simple fact you can't even read the replies to your first post before posting again suggests that the `problem` is the keyboard input device, not the software... We have told you the basics to try in the other thread. Suggest you continue to reply in that topic to people who are happy to give you advice, but not to hear you vent.As for the ctrl+e issue, this will not work on piston aircraft under certain conditions. I'm sure we will tell you those conditions in the other topic, just as soon as we see a reply and possibly a `sorry`. Finally, no aircraft engines start with Ctrl+E in real life, so your use of the sim is not `as real as it gets`. Don't blame the product for your own inadequacies.

Sorry I "vented" and I only used CTRL E when nothing else would work. I have been simming for 10 years and have about 1800 hours in real flight mostly in light twins. Ihave never had this problem until a few days ago. Thanks for your replyKevin

Loade the 172 with engine ruunning, then the Dash 8. It worked. Shut down the Dash8 then did a manual start, all working. Thanks for all your input, it is obiously a softeare issue. (It's nice to fly a lighty sometimes, 747 doesn't do well at Mount Cook o r Milford. Cheer Guys 'n GalsKevinps despite my apparent grumpiness, this forum is just the best

Now that you have solved the problem, we can tell you why:FS saves all sorts of parameters in the saved flight situation. If you save a flight with an aircraft that doesn't have the facility or particular feature that IS saved by the saved .flt then you can get precisely the problem you had. It can even extend to changes between different types of default aircraft. Which is why ALMOST ALL aftermarket developers recommend starting the sim with a true default flight, and only then switching to your aircraft of choice. It's the only way to ensure a consistent application. They don't specify ALWAYS doing so - once you have loaded the default, then switched to the addon you can save THAT flight, knowing that you will have consistency next time. Just don't use THAT save situation for any other aircraft.
