September 25, 200916 yr I purchased and installed the new FS Elemental Natural and Intense packages. They did install and have placed icons on my desktop which offer changing FS9 textures. However, the installation appears not to have located my FS9 folder. It seems to recognise only a C: drive installation of FS9 and does not ask the user to point to the correct directory. The icon installations go through their paces, but give the warning message: "Unable to late the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 installation folder from the Windows System Registry. Setting to default path C:\Program Files\~Flight Simulator 9. This may have unexpected results." I keep my FS9 on a different drive. When flying FS9 I can't say I can see any changes in the texures. I don't think that FS Elemental is moving its special textures into the sim. I have tried contacting FS Elemental's support, but have had no reply. Strangely, the FS Elemental website will not come up in my browser on my home computer so that I can check if there is any advice there. Has anyone else had problems with installing FS Elemental?

Has anyone else had problems with installing FS Elemental?Sounds like Flight Simulator has not been installed from disc (or has been subsequently moved) and you have not got an entry in the Registry identifying where it is.The Flight1 Registry Repair Tool will probably fix it:http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=libraryJohn My co-pilot's name is Sid and he's a star! http://www.adventure-unlimited.org
September 25, 200916 yr ^^^ is correct. so it says it will use default drive c and your fs9 is on another drive? im assuming its not called drive c ?
September 26, 200916 yr Author Thank you, gentlemen. The Registry Repair worked fine. FS Elemental now is installing correctly. Somehow, my FS9 registry entry must have been removed, but is there now. If Flight Simmers ran the world, there would be co-operation and everything would be made to work....eventually. Thanks again.
